Seriously isn't he the cutest?! I can't get over how much hair he has, seriously my kids have zero hair.. So Jealous! :) This big guy hardly even flinched during his session, even when he went to the bathroom! I tell my parents, a noise machine, heater and a bean bag your kids will sleep like champs ;) Just kidding... well kind of! Ben's big sister Taylor was so sweet, she kept bringing me books and wanted to read and even got me to "tiptoe" down a hill in their back yard! So sweet! I'm a little behind here but our little Jude Andrew is now two weeks old. It's hard to believe it's already been two weeks but then on the other hand we have been lost in our own little world for the past two weeks. Jude was born June 11th at 12:15pm and was 7lbs 7oz and 21 inches long. He is a snuggle bug and we just are so in love. He has given us a little bit of a hard time as he is too tired to eat so he wasn't gaining weight like he was supposed to, so I have been quite busy trying to get some meat on his skinny little bones :) Having said that if you have emailed or messaged me I have have read your email and promise I will get back to you asap, I just haven't had much time for the internet! Thank you all for understanding and here is just a little preview of our little guy!

Hi Everyone, I know most of you keep updated on Facebook but I thought I should add it on here as well! As of Friday morning we will be going to the hospital to meet our new little guy! We are so excited and feel so blessed by all the support and love we have received from everyone!
So just keep in mind that if you are trying to get a hold of me to book a session for after AUGUST 1st or need something from a previous session or order there may be a delay in my response :)

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to let you know after this weekend ( I have 3 sessions this weekend so be sure to keep checking back for previews) I will be on Maternity leave! I can't believe it is time already but I want to make sure I've got things wrapped up before this little guy arrives! I can't wait to share photos of him on here while I'm out!! :)

So we are trying really hard to think spring around here! I know we have a ways to go but I girl can wish! I'm so tired of snow and sickness and cold, windy days! While I normally don't do a lot of blogging except for special announcements and previews I thought this would be kind of fun to do!

So here is part of the award that I thought might be kind of fun to do...

Here are 7 interesting things about me...

1.) I have a HUGE family. I don't know that I have ever found anyone that has a bigger family than I do. My mom is one of 13 brothers and sisters, all are married and have at least two kids but most have 3 or more. So in total I think (family members don't be upset if I'm wrong) that I have like 60 1st cousins and that doesn't include any of their spouses or children... Get togethers are INSANE, but normally pretty fun.

2.) I LOVE to decorate my house, but I get ALMOST done and then I can't finish it. It's like I get some kind of brain block and can't finish my vision. It drives me crazy but in every room in my house there is something that I feel needs finished but I just can't do it...

3.) I didn't always want to be a photographer. My dream even as a little girl was to be a Realtor. I have always loved photography but never felt like I was good enough to charge people to take their photos. When I was 24 I got my Real Estate License and honestly hated it. I liked that marketing part of it but the rest not so much. (well besides getting to look at the inside of peoples houses) So I did it for a year and decided it wasn't for me!?

4.) I can stick my WHOLE fist in my mouth :) Don't ask me how I figured out I could do that because I have NO clue, but it's kinda freaky!

5.) We are the A family. My husband is Andrew, I'm Abby, my daughter is Alivia and our dog is Adler. Our little guy that is due in June will be the odd ball because we didn't try and have all A names it just happened. We are not planning to keep the A's going..

6.) Wow this is harder than I thought! ummm... Shopping is my downfall. I LOVE to shop. Since my husband and I got married I have been so much better but now if I see something cute for my kids, it's almost impossible for me NOT to buy it! I would say its a good thing I'm having a boy but so far I have been finding that little boy stuff can be pretty fun too!

7.) If my husband would go, I would move to a warm state (Florida) tomorrow. I HATE being cold. I don't ever really think snow is pretty, the wind, just the whole thing. I think 70 is chilly and really prefer 90+! My husband however loves the seasons and is always hot and really doesn't like it when it is over 70.. So in Indiana we will stay. But I'm praying as he gets older he gets colder and when our kids are grown we can pack up and at least head south for the winter!?

There you go 7 things about me! Not sure how interesting but that's all I've got folks!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that my October is almost full. My family has a very busy month so I will not be taking as many sessions as normal! We sold our house so by mid October we will be moving across town and another exciting event this October is that we will be heading up to Chicago for the weekend because my husband is graduating from The Adler School Of Professional Psychology!
All of that being said if you are thinking about Christmas cards please contact me asap because the cut off for orders to get your Christmas cards will be Novemeber 1st. If you are a previous client and would like to use a photo from your session the cut off for designing your order is mid October!

This session was SUPER fast! When we pulled up the dark clouds were rolling in and I have to admit I was a little on edge the whole time worried we were going to just get poured on and we JUST missed it! Ashley is super cute and can you believe I did these on Monday and she will get meeting her baby boy no later than tomorrow!!

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family of NINE the other day! I love big families, I grew up with a HUGE family (my mom had 12 brothers & sisters, so 13 all together). There was never a dull moment and always someone to hang out with! This family reminded me of that! :)

I don't know if I have ever seen a more stunning bride.. Seriously! Her RED dress was just beautiful and I think she got the reaction from her guests that every bride hopes to get! We had extremely HOT day and even thought it was going to storm during the ceremony but it all went down with out a hitch! This couple didn't forget a thing and every detail was perfect!
